This is a device pocket to hold a small device like vibro motor or an LED circuit. It has a handy three-rows integrated textile perfboard, good when you want to solder/sew a few components to interface your device to an Arduino or Lilypad.

We have added a shrinking thread (very good for tight electrical connections to our textile perfboard) and a Textile perfboard sewing kit (textile perfboard + shrinking thread). See instructions here: http://www.plugandwear.com/supportcf0.html
Today we have added our textile perfboard to the products of www.plugandwear.com. It is a knitted fabric with conductive stripes and you can solder or sew components on it. More details here: http://www.plugandwear.com/products2.html

Do you want to add an ON_OFF switch to an e-wearable garment without adding a mechanical switch? This could be an idea

Just connect two pieces in series with the device you want to turn on and off. Tie the bow and circuit will be turned on, untie the bow and circuit will be turned off.
Together with one of our interns I'm working on an astable textile LED circuit and stretch knitted sensors. Lots of fun!
New instructable published on Instructables.com. It tells you how to connect EL wire in a failure-proof way.

New prototype of textile breadboard released. We used materials that can withstand high temperatures, so it is possible to weld components to the fabric! Soon on www.plugandwear.com
We have released a prototype of a textile breadboard. It is made by a fabric with conductive stripes. Components are sewn with standard sewing thread.

Two interns joined our company. They will develop two separate projects using smart textiles. One automatic hood for a sport jacket and an interactive shirt able to monitor your breathing.
Friday afternoon spent with kids at Festival della Creatività in Florence. http://2009.festivaldellacreativita.it/en. Wonderful interaction design installations! If I had to chose the best one I would select this 'Digital graffiti wall' http://tinyurl.com/yz5mlcp. Kids had fun in watching these robots playing soccer http://2009.festivaldellacreativita.it/en/supernova
