The LFLECT Woolly Hat and LFLECT Wooll Scarf look like ordinary gear by day but comes night they start to illuminate due to the reflective thread used during the knitting of the hat and scarf.

Chose them for safety and higher visibility reason or for the style and wow effect they will create, the LFLECT products are an excellent example how creativity applied to old technology can transform everyday objects into gorgeous looking designs.

Lost Values offers each of these products for £65.00 ($105.-) with the option to chose from different hat designs, the knitting pattern as well as a large selection of colors.

The Equaliser Music Hat is a cute looking alternative to EL T-Shirts to use your music to visually spice up your hat this winter season.

Why only use static embroidery, print of weaving pattern to make a hat more colorful. Animated style elements a much more appealing and fitting into our technology penetrated lifestyle.

Simply attach the hat to the headphone socket of your iPod, smart phone or any MP3 player with a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Equalizer Music Hat not only has the cool, animated sound bars but also features integrated headphones. No need to plug in your earbuds, just put on the hat and rock away.

2 x CR2032 Batteries are needed to make the EL sound bars move, no battery power is needed if you want to use this hat as cozy warm headphones without the animation.

The website ‘I want one of those‘ is selling the Equalizer Music Hat for £19.99 (around $32.-)

This is just too hilarious to go over it without sharing it: a WiFi indicating baseball cap. It’s like: why didn’t anyone think of it earlier?

I am a fan of the WiFi signal indicating T-Shirt, having used it many times, maybe not necessarily to look for WiFi coverage but also to be the center of attraction in some places, it’s fun to run around broadcasting WiFi availability.

While a T-Shirt works fine I do have the complain about the heavy battery pack tearing down my T-Shirt at one side.

The WiFi cap from thumpsUp! detects 802.11b or 802.11g signals but runs on just 2x CR2032 batteries that are housed in a small battery pack that tucks neatly inside the lining of the cap.

That makes it for sure a ‘must have’ item on my wish list. The WiFi cap has a price tag of £12.99 (around $21,-) but the draw back is the minimum order quantity of six units. Now I have to find five buddies sharing my enthusiasm for broadcasting the WiFi signal strength on their head as well.

The Shine Hat represents a great innovation for commuters and those who prefer to ride or run in twilight/darkness.

The lighting system provides enhanced visibility with either a blinking or constant on light symbol which acts as a reflective element when switched off.

The integrated light system runs off a CR2032 watch battery located in the top of the hat which provides power for 100 hours of constant light on and double of that in blinking mode. A soft on/off switch for the light is integrated into the hat as well. The battery and light module is removable for washing.

The Microsensor Thermal fabric is warm, soft and breathable and will quickly wick moisture away from your head keeping you warm and dry. The 18% spandex content gives the Shine Hat excellent stretch to fit any size head.

For $14.99, the Shine Hat is an affordable visibility enhancing gear for runners or cyclists helping to avoid close encounters with cars during nightly runs.

A simple but bright idea in every sense.

It might look a bit odd to write about headgear when summertime is approaching but there are parts in our global village who prepare for the wintertime and don’t forget even the best summer has it’s cooler days and nights.

Having established this lets move on to look what the iLogic Sound Hat can offer: it has built-in speakers resting over your ears which makes listening to music more enjoyable over longer times compared to earplug style headphones which have the habit to fall out easily especially if you move around.

A 98cm (38.58 inch) wire with a 3.5mm jack is tucked into the internal lining allowing you to plug into any iPod or other music playing device that has a headphone jack. The long wire gives enough freedom to have the player in a pocket or even bag.

The hat which comes only in black is made from 100% polyester and can be hand-washed after removing the speakers.

The iLogic Sound Hat’s simplicity in form and function offers a very good solution to protect your head and ears against the chill and gives comfortable listening experience. A good example how the integration of technology into clothing accessories makes perfect sense.

Available by I-want-one-of-those.com for £14.99 ($26.98)
