PrimaVolta and PrimoVolta heated gloves for she and him

Heated_glove_PrimaVolta.jpgKeeping your finger warm while outdoors in sub-zero temperatures has never been as easy as it is now. Heated gloves are coming to the market in rapid succession lately ranging from simple products where the heat is regulated manually up to the latest breed of heated gloves using the advanced Aevex® Intelligent Heat™ technology.

Outdoor Research is launching the PrimaVolta heated glove for women and the PrimoVolta model for men.

Like the Red Savina glove we posted about a few days ago, The Prima/PrimoVolta gloves have embedded intelligent heat panels that sense when you need heat and deliver via the flexible Aevex energy panels at back of the hand and top and bottom of the wrist.

A lightweight battery is located in the wrist area giving heat for up to 6 hours thanks to the intelligent ‘on demand’ heating technology.

To keep the heat inside the gloves are made of waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX shell with stretch and compression-molded nylon panels and a leather palm for added durability and enhanced grip.

Available mid of October by Mountain Gear for $259.- Yeah, I know a high price point but I like to point out: warm fingers are priceless when you plan to enjoy  staying outdoors when it is really cold.

  1. It seems that everyone is out of stock on these. Does this mean that they didn’t produce enough and they were hugely popular? Or does it mean that there were problems and the product has been pulled by Outdoor Research?
