Beijing Olympics opening with light suits

I just can’t pass this over: Chinese men wearing suits with lights during a full dress rehearsal which was conducted under a cloak of secrecy ahead of one of the most anticipated summer Olympic Games of all times.

Didn’t the Chinese invent the fireworks many thousands years back? Maybe the Light Suits are their latest invention to create enjoyable light shows? Fireworks of the 21st Century? Or could this be the backup plan in case the predicted rain is falling for the opening ceremony?

Whatever the reason, wearable electronic takes center-stage on the 2008 Olympics.

Thanks JV for sending us this tip.

How do I get my hands on suits like these, or instructions to make some similar?
