Radiance and Refugium heated jackets for the coldest winter days
The cold days approaching fast as my friends in the northern hemisphere tell me and the need for some extra heat while outdoors is very much appreciated.
We have covered your feet already with the introduction of Columbia’s Bugathermo heated boots. Now it’s time to warm up your upper body with Mountain Hardwear‘s heated jackets, the Radiance Jacket from women (see photo) and the Refugium Jacket for men.
The insulated jackets are pre-wired for the use of Ardica‘s Moshi Power System battery and Technology Connector that not only radiates warmth with a push of a button but can charge iPods, iPhones or any other USB devices.
The jackets have 3 temperature settings on which the lowest setting will be good for up to 8.5 hours of on-demand heat to the chest and back via 3 heat panels, all with the touch of a glove-friendly button on the left chest.
The Radiance jacket for women comes in the colors black and white. The Refugium Jacket is available in black and sapphire. Each jacket costs $229.- without the heating/battery system and $375.- including the heating/battery system.
As I always say: staying warm during the coldest winter days is …. priceless.
