Zenga Sport iJacket
The well known fashion brand, Ermenegildo Zegna, is joining the Wearable Electronic business with the release of Zenga Sport iJacket.
As we have already seen by other products of this kind, the controls for the iPod are located on the sleeve. The iPod itself is stored in a plastic pouch sown inside of the Jacket. The controls allow to manipulate volume, track, and play / pause - the standard Remote Control function of the iPod.
The Zenga Sport iJacket requires no special handling when dirtied up it goes into the washing machine like any other Jacket of this type.
What makes this Jacket outstanding, it’s designed and offered by a high street fashion brand. Ermenegildo Zegna made the first ‘real’ fashionable alternative to those slightly bulkier offerings from the outdoor companies that offer similar Jackets with controls in the sleeve.
This is not to say they are not looking fashionable, it’s just that all the previous Jackets where designed for Outdoor apparel. The Zenga Sport iJacket fits perfectly into the city lifestyle as well.
The Jacket is planned to be in the shops on October 21, with a price tag of 750.- US$
