Founded in 2006, talk2myShirt focuses it's efforts on informing people about the developments of wearable electronic, a young and highly promising technology which merges textiles and electronic into interactive fashion and fashion accessory items.

Over the past 3 years we introduced on our Blog on a daily basis commercial products, research initiatives, design concepts, technology developments and inform about the highly creative work coming from the growing number of DIY enthusiasts about wearable technologies.

Based on the feedback and communication with our blog reader but also face-to-face discussions with people around the wearable electronic community we decided to start a new initiative to make communication and cooperation among this community more effortlessly and to connect easily.

To achieve this aim we created a community based system, facilitating on one hand the membership and communication management and to provide a powerful infrastructure to support cooperation and collaboration among members of the network.

Called the talk2myShirt wearable electronic Connection, our community platform is open for everyone who like to connect to the wearable electronic inventors, designers and creators, to work on technology projects, product design or to link up with companies interested into launching interactive clothing.

The talk2myShirt wearable electronic Connection does not intend to duplicate information available already in other places on the Internet but help to connect the many resource sites around the virtual and real world.

Members of the Connection will be the main contributor to the content of the talk2myShirt wearable electronic Connection supported by dedicated talk2myShirt staff to create a library of links to wearable technology resource sites and other information on- or offline.

We welcome and invite visitors and members of talk2myShirt to give feedback, suggestions for improvement to help us in creating and maintaining a site that serves it's main purpose: to connect the wearable electronic community and to be a information source for everyone interested into the future of interactive fashion.
